Solo movie new trailer TODAY: What time is the Star Wars teaser out? | Films | Entertainment

There is now less than two months to go until the Han Solo prequel spin-off arrives.

And yesterday the official Star Wars Twitter feed released a 15 second trailer teaser.

Featuring the Millennium Falcon powering up it announced in big yellow-outlined letters: “Trailer Tomorrow.”

So what time will the Solo trailer be available to watch later today?

According to the new Solo trailer will air on US TV during ABC’s American Idol.

The show is on from 8-10pm EST, which is 12-2am GMT in the early hours of Monday for UK fans.

As for what the trailer will contain, hopefully it will give a clearer picture of what Solo is about.

Solo will now hit cinemas in the UK on Thursday May 24, a whole day before the USA.

The movie’s first trailer dropped last month but it remains to be seen whether it can match the high bar set by previous spin-off Rogue One when it finally hits cinemas.

Solo’s synopsis reads: “Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy.”

It continues: “Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.

Solo: A Story is released in UK cinemas on May 24, 2018.
